The Pathetic Logic

Its human nature if something he is doing is against nature or illegal or forbiden by his religion, he will present some reason or logic of doing so to try to satisfy himself and other. This time after the tragic "Peshawar Incident", some of people on social media start presenting this pathetic logic that why are we condemning Taliban only for brutal attacks and blasts? Why are we showing only one side of the picture? Why don't we condemn army for their air strikes against Taliban and their allies when their children dies like ours? Aren't they human? Why media is one sided and not allowed to enter tribal areas? This was a mistake we had made enter into the war on terror.
These are some questions moving on my timelines of social media websites after the tragic Peshawar incident. All are sensible question to be asked but I don't understand why are the defense analyst and security analyst are silent on these question. I am not some sort on analyst but I love to study history and warfare.
The answer to all these type of question is their style of war and their tactics of attack itself. As militias always do "guerilla warfare"1 and the basic thing for these type of war to first protect your own family and than to attack. If they are not safe than they can't go open for attack and can't do things effectively. In guerilla warfare militia has the option and can avoid collateral damages to eliminate their target. But if the defender do retaliate than they have very less chance to avoid the collateral damage as militia always hide among common people lives like ordinary people.
By this tactic many governments and empires are being toppled and it root has traced to B.C era. But in Islamic history the prominent Islamic warrior who fought for sharia not like this today's militants across the world, (these are some butcher with the slogan of Islam just enough to defame it). He did implement sharia in his area and were know for it and even enemies had admire him, it was Imam of Daghistan, Imam Shamil. He showed a great resistance to Russian Empire. He was a great Islamic scholar and philosopher and buried in Jannat-ul-Baqi.
All the people who are asking these questions should study history and tradition.

  1. I don't disagree with your perspective.

Islam advocates three steps against terrorism:

1.To give an excellent moral upbringing to all Muslims, so that they become upright, just, moral, kind and loving people, thereby ensuring that they never disrupt the peace of others.

2.Whenever the peace is disrupted, to reason and argue with the evildoers, and sincerely pray for them, to make them change their ways.

3.If all reasoning fails, then to join forces with all good people to combat the mischief-mongers until peace has been restored, but always keeping the dictates of justice in view.

It is our belief that not only Islam, but no true religion, whatever its name, can sanction violence and bloodshed of innocent men, women and children in the name of Allah Almighty. Terrorists may use religious or political labels, but no one should be deceived by their wily ways and treacherous guiles. They have nothing to do with religion. They are the enemies of peace. They must be combated at every level as advocated by Islam, the religion of peace.
